Goeldi Museum
The Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi, located in Belem, State of Para,  has
supported archaeological research in the Amazon for over a hundred years.  It has
also supported Denise Schaan's research on Marajo Island since 1999.  The
Museum has provided personnel, equipment and laboratories, as well as cared for
the collections and restoration of artifacts collected in the field.
